Doula Chef House Calls
The sacred season of postpartum is a potent time for healing. When the mother is nourished, it can create a foundation of physical & mental health for both mama & baby for years to come. With ancestral traditions as a guide, the Doula Chef centers the needs of the mother as she navigates the profound fourth trimester.
Each house call includes freshly prepared meal & elixir for mother, and a fridge stocked with postpartum nourishment. Custom menus feature recipes & ingredients to support lactation, hormone balance, and postpartum needs.

The weekly menu is inspired by the season & ingredients are sourced local and organic. Each week includes 4 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack & elixir. Menu highlights include:
PROTEIN: soup or stew with animal proteins to provide essential nutrients
GRAIN: Weekly mother bowls include a base of Congee or Kitchari, enriched with seasonal vegetables to promote digestion & balanced energy
BREAKFAST: A wholesome & easily digestible morning meal, typically a chia pudding or oats
BONE BROTH: Rich in collagen and minerals, supports gut health & immunity, used as the base for soups, stews & grains
SNACK: Lactation Cookies or Energy Bites to help boost milk supply and energy levels
DRINK: Herbal Tea or Superfood milk, providing hydration and nourishment

Sessions can be scheduled before birth, with items labeled and packaged for easy defrosting and heating.
Cooking Demo/Lesson
Empower your partner or support team to create postpartum staples. They’ll learn foundational concepts, recommended ingredients, simple recipes, and gain hands-on experience.
Kitchen Set Up
Organize your kitchen and stock your pantry with postpartum-supportive dry goods, spices, and products. Includes recommendations for tools and equipment to make cooking easeful.
Weekly Grocery Shopping
Send additional shopping requests 48 hours before each session, with the option to have produce washed, chopped, and ready for use.
